ST. KILLIAN'S CHURCH CEMETERY

Copied November 2, 1974 by H. A. Dieter,  John, Coleen and Paula Olson, Ken Schmitz and Rose Slaney. The location is two miles north of junction of State Hwy. 130 and County Trunk B; thence one mile east to church in Section 1, Town of Buena Vista. The church and cemetery grounds were donated by one Anthony Schmitz. The church was built in 1885.  All grounds are in excellent condition. German nationality is well represented by name and unique monument structure. Old country metal cross markers with German inscriptions on both iron and granite are truly interesting. Many Irish and one Norwegian are in the minority by name only. There are presently 5 veterans buried here.
