NORWEGIAN LUTHERAN CEMETERY a.k.a. Hedka
Cemetery
Catalogued June 14, 1975 by the Elm Grove 4-H Club under the direction
of Gaylord Marshall. Located on a town road 0.7 mile north of the
village of Cazenovia. Leave Wis. 58 on the first road as 58 turns
sharply to the east. The cemetery lies within the fork of a road on the
present Tracy Jennings farm, section 1, Town of Westford. The cemetery
began as a Lutheran churchyard cemetery. The church building is no
longer standing. Burials are now obsolete due to the inevitable change
as first families and their nationalities moved on to other localities.
This in turn affected the church life of many such communities since
the turn of the century.
