CONKLE CEMETERY
Catalogued April 21, 1975 by H. A. Dieter. Located 1.8 miles north on
County Truck E, north of U.S. 14. The cemetery lies east of county E,
directly across from an old country school. The grounds are in fair
condition. Inscriptions were hard to read in the old section. Two
stones had either partial names or dates. Blank lines will be left for
them, should further data become available. The first known burial was
in 1859.
