BROWN CEMETERY
Catalogued October 14, 1975 by H. A. Dieter. Located one mile north of
U.S. 14 along County Trunk ZZ, section 10, Town of Dayton. The ground
was donated by M. J. Brown. The cemetery is still open for burials
regardless of the poorly kept premises. The first known burial was in
1861.
A later finding produced evidence of a Christian Church having stood a
short distance north of the present cemetery. Other data remains
unavailable at this time. (I thought it might help to round out the
